Research Progress on Fingerprint Residue in Forensics

综述了国外法庭科学工作者对指纹残留物所做的部分研究,介绍了指纹残留物的构成以及影响其变化的因素。指纹残留物是由不同来源的大量化合物组成的一个复杂系统,并且随着时间从最开始的成分变化,影响其变化的因素主要分为五个类别:供者特征、沉积条件、基质性质、环境条件、应用的显现技术。

This paper summarizes the research on fingerprint residues made by forensic scientists abroad,and introduces the composition of fingerprint residues and the factors that influence their changes. Fingerprint residues is a complex system consisting of a large number of compounds from different sources,and with the time from the beginning of the composition change,the factors affecting its change is mainly divided into five categories： donor characteristics,sedimentary conditions,matrix properties,environmental conditions,application of Enhancement techniques.
