公共图书馆服务新生代农民工的现状及对策

Current Situation and Countermeasures of Public Libraries Serving the New Generation of Migrant Workers

新生代农民工是城市建设的生力军,在为社会发展做出贡献的时候也十分注重规划自己的未来,但由于经济条件弱而导致这一群体的精神文化生活较为贫乏,而公共图书馆免费开放、设立专题书架、开展专题讲座和免费技能培训,则为服务新生代农民工群体提供了既必要又可行的基础条件。但是,目前公共图书馆服务新生代农民工群体还存在着缺少针对性服务、缺少服务宣传和资金扶持等问题。为此,公共图书馆应通过积极开展服务宣传推广活动、加强针对性服务、整合社会资源、加强社会合作,来强化服务新生代农民工群体。

The new generation of migrant workers is the new force of urban construction.When they contribute to social development,they pay close attention to planning their own future.However,the poor spiritual and cultural life of this group is caused by the weak economic conditions.The free opening of public libraries,the establishment of special bookshelves,special lectures and free skills training provide both necessary and feasible basic conditions for the service of the new generation of migrant workers.However,there are still some problems such as lack of targeted services,lack of service promotion and financial support in the public library services for the new generation of migrant workers.To this end,the public library should actively carry out service publicity and promotion activities,strengthen targeted services,integrate social resources and strengthen social cooperation to strengthen the service of new generation of migrant workers.
