摘要
高通量卫星(HTS)系统是当前通信卫星的发展方向,以高频率复用和多个小点波束为特征,能为用户提供高的信道容量和高质量的服务,主要工作在Ka频段。而国际通信卫星公司(Intelsat)的史诗(Epic)卫星平台,在C、Ku和Ka频段实现高通量技术,是Intelsat下一代高性能的卫星平台。介绍了Epic的系统构成、发展现状,尤其是其先进的数字载荷技术,分析了HTS的发展趋势,为相关载荷研制提供了参考和借鉴。
High throughput satellite( HTS) is the improvement trend of communication satellite system,with the features of high-order frequency reuse and multi-spot beams. HTS usually works at Ka frequency-band,and can provide the required high system capacity for every user. The Intelsat's Epic is the next generation of high-performance satellite platform,which achieves the HTS technique at C,Ku and Ka frequency bands. The system construction and improvement trend of Epic,especially its advanced digital payload are introduced. Moreover,the future of HTS is analyzed,which can provide a reference to the improvement of satellite payloads.
