摘要简要介绍了Van Patten&Williams(2015)所著《第二语言习得中的理论:导论》的主要内容,涉及到第二语言习得这门学科自创建以来的十大理论和未来的发展趋势。在此基础上,讨论了本书对汉语作为第二语言习得研究及教学的启示。 This paper gives a brief introduction to the main contents of Theories in Second Language Acquisition：An Introduction（Van Patten Williams,2015）,including the ten main theories established in second language acquisition since its inception as a field of scientific inquiry and its latest trends of development. Some implications for the research of the acquisition of Chinese as a second language and for the teaching of Chinese are also discussed.
