压力容器指的是容纳液体或者气体并且有一定压力的密闭性设备。压力容器是一种高危具有随时爆炸可能的专业设备,很多时候都处于极度高温、高压、低温的工作环境中,因为它在工程中起到完成反应、存储、换热的作用。压力容器在使用过程中对工艺的要求极高,因为其中会有很多易燃易爆炸的介质,毒性极强并且对人体有害的物质也很多,工作环境极为复杂,是一项高危的工作。所以,压力容器的安全技术管理是一项涉及工程整体安全的关键行为。
