Tomb Murals along Chinese Silk Road reveals how culture constructed its narrative system with tomb murals as its special artistic form during the cultural exchanges more than 2,000 years ago. Prof. WANG explored the interaction and exchange between the local culture and foreign culture and pointed out their narrative features demonstrated in the structure of tomb murals. Other parts in this series of books are all subjected with cultural exchange from an "inward"vision of comparison, that is,they offer an interpretative comparison of tomb murals in different layers along the Silk Road to reveal the corresponding interactions and narratives of different cultures in different tomb murals. This interpretation mode highlighting cultural communication and interaction is no doubt of great value with deep analyses of images that cannot be ignored.
