高校图书馆服务理念回归传统的思考——收藏与利用的辨证关系

在图书馆工作中,收藏与利用是一对矛盾,在这对矛盾中,收藏是矛盾的主要方面,属于第一位的;利用是矛盾的次要方面,是第二位的。作为人类文化宝库的图书馆,公益性与服务性是其基本特征。只要图书馆回归到传统的服务理念上来,在采访、借阅、文献编辑、宣传推荐等方面认真扎实地做好每一环节,处理好收藏与利用的关系,充分发挥馆员主观能动性,创新开拓,挖掘传统服务的潜力,图书馆的事业仍然会前景无限。

In library work,collection and utilization are a pair of contradictions.In this contradiction,collection is the main aspect of the contradiction and belongs to the first,while the utilization is the secondary aspect of the contradiction.Library is the treasure house of human culture,and public welfare and service are its basic characteristics.As long as library returns to the traditional service concept and does well in each link of interviewing,borrowing,document editing,propaganda and recommendation,etc.,and deals with the relationship between collection and utilization,the cause of library will still have boundless prospects.
