A lot of concentrated sulfuric acid was required for the production of air blowing bromine. Based on the physicochemical properties of concentrated sulfuric acid and standard specification for related design,the safety design of the concentrated sulfuric acid tank area in air blowing bromine project was expounded. The influence of position selection,determination of tank volume,design of tank,unloading of tanks and precaution of safety on the effect of safety design were considered in detail. In addition,the people-oriented,safety first,the idea of prevention was adhered in the design process.
