Mo - zi＇s an outstanding craftsman and educator. His vocational education thought is an important part of education thought for the development of modem vocational education system, Providing rich reference and inspiration, which also con-tains the factors of the spirit of craftsman. The spirit of craftsman is the spiritual guidance of vocational education. It contains “skills” “ingenuity” and “soul” .Through these three aspects,we can mining the factors of the spirit of craftsman in Mo - zi＇s vocational education thought, in order to find its historical origin and cultural basis, explore the contemporary value of Mo - zi＇ s vocational education thought on the cultivat ion of the spirit of craftsman. Carrying forward and cultivat ing the spirit of craftsman is in order to apply it to the practice of vocational education in today＇s society and help the construction of Chinese modernization “ manufacturing power”.
