This article uses methods of interview,literature and logical analysis to analyze and discuss Professor（ from Tsinghua University） Qiao Fengjie＇idea about＂engagement in scholarship＂and the related problems in academic research.Conclusion： a scholar should always keep the pursuit of excellence,maintain personhood before doing things,seek for truth,enrich knowledge and acquire precise logical thinking ability,he（ she）should sum up experience,find ＂problems ＂ constantly,do experiments and demonstration,repeat the experiments,prove arguments,find answers and promote the academic accomplishment.
