高校英语教学“中国文化失语”现状研究

Research on “Chinese Cultural Aphasia” in College English Teaching

"中国文化失语"是高校英语教学存在的普遍问题。所谓的文化失语,指的是在中国文化对外传播过程中,高校学生由于跨文化内容表达方面的障碍,不能使用英语进行中国文化的传播交流。这种情况的产生并非因为中国学生缺乏交际能力,而是在高校英语教学中存在严重的文化转化问题。对我国高校英语教学中的"中国文化失语"现状进行分析,通过中、英两种语言的对比与转化,给出"中国文化失语"的解决方案。

＂Chinese cultural aphasia＂ is the common problem in college English teaching. The so-called cultural aphasia refers to the fact that college students can＇t use English to spread Chinese culture in the process of the international communication of Chinese culture due to the expression hindrance in cross-cultural content. This situation is not caused by the reason that Chinese students lack communicative competence, but due to the fact that there exists serious cultural transformation in college English teaching. This paper analyzes the current situation of＂Chinese cultural aphasia＂in Chinese college English teaching, and gives the solution to ＂Chinese cultural aphasia＂ through the comparison and transformation of Chinese and English languages.
