摘要
中国特色社会主义新时代的中国社会是一个消费资料无限丰富的社会,与人被物包围的消费社会具有某种形式的相似性,但新时代的中国无论在社会制度、消费动力还是本质特征上都有别于消费社会,从而注定了消费主义不是新时代的消费合宜性。在新时代,人民的消费方式已由生存型向享受型、发展型转换,但人民对美好生活的需要与现实的消费条件、发展水平之间还存在差距。新时代的消费合宜性既应当助力经济发展,又应当提供伦理批判、价值引领。
The Chinese society in a new era, abundant with consumption goods, is to some extent similar to a consumer society in which people are surrounded by materials. However, China in a new era distinguishes itself from the latter in terms of social institution,consumption motivation and essential characters, which makes consumerism improper in a new era. The new age witnessed the transformation of consumption patterns from survival to entertainment and self-development. However, there is still a gap between people's need for a better life and the actual consumption conditions and development. Thus, the propriety of consumption in a new era shall be condusive to economic development and ethic criticism and value guidance.
