加强木薯食用化和能源化多元开发 重振广西木薯产业

Strengthening the Multi-purpose Development of Cassava in Food and Energy to Revive Its Industry in Guangxi

木薯产业是广西的特色产业和优势产业,主要以生产淀粉和酒精为主。近年来,受木薯淀粉行情低迷和国际原料低价的冲击,木薯种植效益差,面积锐减;同时受越来越严的环保措施限制,加工企业逐年减少,产业萎缩严重,传统木薯产业面临严峻考验。因此,调整木薯加工产业结构,实现木薯产品多元化发展,加快木薯产业转型升级,是重振广西木薯产业的希望所在。笔者提出加强木薯食用化和能源化多元开发的重要举措,如设立木薯食用化研究和开发广西重大科技专项;把木薯食用化开发作为我区的一个新兴产业来抓,列入扶贫开发项目,把我区建设成为木薯食用化利用强省;并在北部湾地区重点发展木薯生物质能源产业等,以促进广西木薯产业的发展。

Cassava industry which mainly produces starch and alcohol is one of the special advantage industries in Guangxi. In recent years, due to the impact of starch market downturn and low price of international raw materal, growinging cassava has poor benefits and the planted area has decreased sharply; meanwhile more strict environment regulations have also led to a de- crease in processing enterprises and a massive contraction in cassava industry, so the traditional cassava industry is facing a severe test. Therefore, the hope of reviving Guangxi＇ s cassava in- dustry lies in adjusting the industrial structure of cassava processing, realizing the multi-purpose development of cassava products, accelerating cassava industrial transfer and upgrade. The au- thor proposed some important measures to strengthen the multi-purpose development of cassava in food and energy, such as setting up Guangxi key S＆T project for food research and develop-ment of cassava; focusing on food development of cassava as a Guangxi＇s emerging industry, and including it in poverty alleviation projects, so as to build Guangxi into a strong province of the u- tilization of cassava in food; giving priority to the development of cassava bioenergy industry in Beibu Gulf area to promote the development of cassava industry in Guangxi.
