摘要
分析了霍华德·菲利普斯·洛夫克拉夫特小说集《克苏鲁神话》中的恐怖元素,认为《克苏鲁神话》是美国现代恐怖小说最为杰出的代表。科学禁域、原罪和天命难违是洛氏作品中的三大恐怖主题。其在艺术表现方面打破传统,形式多样,自成体系。《克苏鲁神话》使近现代科幻恐怖小说创作达到了一个开拓性的高度。
The terror elements in Cthulhu Mythos were analyzed,which is written by Howard Phillips Lovecraft,and is the most outstanding work in modern American horror fictions.The scientific forbidden zone,the original sin and the inviolable destiny,are the three horror topics in Lovecraft’s works.He breaks traditions in artistic expression,has various forms,and establishes his own system.Cthulhu Mythos has made the creation of modern science horror fiction a pioneering height.
