Mode of “Crime,Confession and Redemption”:Analysis of Francois Mauriac's Works by Structuralism

分析了弗朗索瓦·莫里亚克的小说创作成就,将其最有代表性的4部作品《给麻风病人的吻》《蛇结》《爱的荒漠》《苔蕾丝·德斯盖鲁》作为一个相通的结构系统,运用结构主义批评理论探究其小说的叙事特征,认为"犯罪-忏悔-救赎"是其小说呈现的主要叙事模式,这一叙事模式体现了作者用爱包容一切的宗教观。

Francois Mauriac’s achievement in novel writing is analyzed.His four novels,A kiss for a leper,The snake knot,The desert of love and Terres Desgeru,were combined as a connected structural system;and the narrative features of its novels were explore by using structuralist criticism theory.It is proposed that ＂crime-confession-salvation＂is the main narrative mode of his novel’s presentation.This narrative mode embodies the author’s religion view of all-inclusive love.
