Due to the limitation of the method of making characters, Chinese characters can not completely represent their meanings from the external form. This article discusses the inherent relationship between morphological subtraction and information perception in Chinese character design. By means of morphological subtraction of font design, the internal and external relations of Chinese characters are tapped, enriching the meaning of Chinese characters and extending the extension of Chinese characters, forming a second interpretation of Chinese characters and injecting new visual features into Chinese characters. So that the visual beauty of Chinese characters, highlighting the personality of Chinese characters and the beauty of morphology, enhance the spread of Chinese characters.
