河南焦作民间挖山药大锨设计研究

Design and Research on Digging Yam Spade in Jiaozuo, Henan

河南焦作地区盛产怀山药,因山药身形细长,在挖采过程中为保证其完整性,当地人常使用一种手工打制的大锨。文章从大锨的形态结构、使用方式、人机关系、设计评价等四个方面对大锨进行研究,论述民间器具所特有的艺术价值。

Jiaozuo, a city abounds with Chinese yam. Because of the slender body of the yam, locals often use a hand- made spade in order to guarantee its integrity in the digging process. The article discusses the particular artistic value on folk utensils from four aspects： struture, usage, man-machine relationship and design assessment.
