文化资本、制度环境对区域金融中心的影响

Influence of Cultural Capital and Institutional Environment on Regional Financial Center

以31个金融中心城市为样本，在构建文化资本评价体系并用熵值法测算出区域文化资本的基础上，就文化资本与制度环境两类因素对区域金融中心建设的影响进行了实证分析。结果表明：①文化资本在区域金融中心建设上扮演着重要的角色，文化资本有利于提升区域金融中心综合竞争力，这种促进作用主要体现在我国东部区域；②制度环境对区域金融中心建设同样具有正面影响，而不同层面的制度环境影响不一，其中非国有经济发展、要素市场发育以及市场中介组织发育和法律制度环境作用更为显著，另外其在地区性差异上亦有所表现。

Utilizing the sample of 31 regional financial centers, the paper firstly establishes an assessment system for cultural capital which is then measured with the entropy method. Based on this, the paper sets up empirical models to test the influences of cultural capital and institutional environment on the development of those financial centers. The results show that： （1） Cultural capital plays an important role in building a financial center, that is, the more cultural capital a city has, the more competitive it will become. The situation is especially true for the cities in eastern China; （2） Institutional environment benefits regional financial centers as well. However, different aspects of institutional environment differ in the effects, with indexes for non-state economy, product markets, factor markets, intermediary organizations and laws being more significant. Moreover, there also exists regional differences concerning how institutional environment functions.
