市场话语下高职外语专业发展刍议

On the Development of Foreign Language Specialty in Vocational Colleges Under the Discourse of Market

摘要 高职外语专业其本质上是教育产品(服务)的提供者,正面临深刻变革。依据市场话语,从高职外语专业的优势、劣势、机遇和挑战四个角度进行分析。其优势有三点:形成了产业规模,建构起职业化、开放式导向,显现出文化功能。劣势有两方面:处于产业链低端、附加值低,缺乏产品标准体系。面临三大机遇:国际化趋势对外语人才的紧迫需求,应用技术大学的出现导致传统的院校评价标准发生改变,实用型知识价值被认知并开始进入高等教育领域。面对两大挑战:被普通高等教育外语模式所同化,市场培训的职业化挑战。在以上分析的基础上,提出高职外语专业必须面向市场,提高高职外语的职业性;顺应趋势,提升高职外语的文化功能;围绕"知识",建构高职外语专业体系;树立"经营"理念,从市场获取资源、销售产品等发展对策。 Foreign language education in vocational Colleges, a provider of educational products(services), is facing profound reforms. According to the discourse of the market, the thesis analyzes the advantages, disadvantages,opportunities and challenges of the foreign language major in higher vocational colleges. It can be seen that there are three advantages: the formation of the industrial scale, the open and professional orientation, and the cultural function. There are two disadvantages: in the lower ladder of the industrial chain and lack of product standard system. There are three major opportunities: the urgent demand for foreign language talents due to the international trend; the change of the traditional evaluation criteria due to the emergence of applied technology universities; the recognition and appearance of practical knowledge in higher education; There are two major challenges:being assimilated by foreign language education model in the higher education, being challenged by language training centers. Based on the above analysis, the thesis concludes that the foreign language majors in vocational colleges are faced with two paths of "promotion" and "transformation". They must focus on the construction of "knowledge" system, establish the concept of "management", and obtain resources from the market and sell products.
