《英语公众演讲》课程设置的实践研究——以湖南理工学院为例

Practice Research on the Curriculum Setting of “English Public Speech”——Take Hunan Institute of Science and Technology as an Example

随着全球化的发展以及中国在国际舞台上发挥的影响力的不断增大,高校,作为人才培养的摇篮,肩负着培养新形势下具有国际视野、通晓国际规则、能够参与国际事务和国际竞争的国际化人才的使命。《英语公众演讲》课程的开设极大地迎应了当今国际社会发展对人才需求的标准。本文主要围绕笔者所在学校《英语公众演讲》课程开设的具体情况:课程培养目标,课程设置、课程内容、课程评价、师资队伍及存在的问题展开论述。

With the development of globalization and the increasing influence of China on the global stage,as the cradle of talent training,higher colleges take the responsibility to cultivate international talents with world view,thorough understanding of international rules.We can have abilities to participate in international affairs and competition under the new situation.The EPS course,to a large extent,caters for the standards of talents training in the current global society.This research mainly focuses on the illustration of specific conditions of EPS course in Hunan Institute of Science and Technology： curriculum training objectives,curriculum provision,course contents,curriculum evaluation,teaching staff and problems we are facing.
