摘要
《夜色温柔》是菲茨杰拉德耗时九年时间才完成的经典巨作,然而这本书在文学批评界充满了争议。该小说中的女性仿佛是天使,却同魔鬼一般将男人推入万劫不复之地。要想充分了解这部小说,可以从书中女性的角度进行分析,女性从天使变为魔鬼其实质是追求自身解放的过程,当时女权运动正在兴起,该小说详实地反映了当时的社会现状,时至今日仍具有极强的现实意义。
Tender is the night,written by Fitzgerald who took nine years to complete the classic masterpiece,but this book is full of the controversy in literary criticism. The women in this novel is like the angel pushing the men doomed eternally like the devil. To deeply understand this novel,we analyzed the change process of a women from angel to devil,which can be seen as a pursuit of self liberation process. The novel reflects the social status quo of that time and is of strong realistic significance.
