摘要
目的检测程序性死亡受体1(PD-1)和程序性死亡配体1(PD-L1)在食管鳞癌组织中的表达情况,探讨其表达水平的高低与患者临床病理特征之间的联系。方法回顾性分析49例行根治性食管鳞癌手术患者的石蜡组织标本和临床病理资料,观察并比较食管鳞癌组织和癌旁正常食管黏膜组织中PD-1和PD-L1的表达,分析两者表达水平与食管鳞癌患者临床病理特征的关系。结果食管鳞癌组织中PD-1和PD-L1的阳性表达率分别为36.7%(18/49)、49.0%(24/49),均高于癌旁正常食管黏膜组织的16.3%(8/49)、22.4%(11/49),比较差异均有统计学意义(P均<0.05)。PD-L1的表达与食管鳞癌患者肿瘤浸润深度及TNM分期有关(P均<0.05)。结论 PD-1和PD-L1在食管鳞癌组织中高表达。PD-L1的表达和食管鳞癌的疾病进展关系密切,阻断PD-1/PD-L1信号通路可能是对肿瘤患者进行免疫治疗的有效途径,为食管癌患者免疫治疗提供新的靶点。
Objective To detect the expressions of programmed death 1 ( PD-1 ) and programmed death ligand 1 ( PD-L1 ) in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, and to explore the relationship between the expression levels and clinicopathological features of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Methods The paraffin tissue and clinicopatho- logical data of 49 patients with radical esophageal squamous cell carcinoma were analyzed retrospectively. The ex- pression of PD-1 and PD-L1 in the esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and the adjacent normal esophageal mucosa were observed and compared. The relationship between the expression level and clinicopathological features of e- sophageal squamous cell carcinoma were analyzed. Results The positive expression rates of PD-1 and PD-L1 in the esophageal squamous cell carcinoma were 36.7% (18/49) and 49.0% (24/49), respectively, which were higher than 16.3% (8/49) and 22.4% (11/49) of the adjacent normal esophageal mucosa (P 〈0.05). The expression of PD-L1 was associated with tumor invasion depth and TNM stage in the esophageal squamous cell carcinoma ( P 〈 0.05). Conclusion PD-1 and PD-L1 are highly expressed in the esophagus squamous cell carcinoma. The overex- pression of PD-L1 in the esophageal squamous cell carcinoma is closely related to the progression of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Blocking the PD-1/PD-L1 signaling pathway- may be an effective way- for immunotherapy of patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
