摘要
自20世纪90年代以来,当代大陆新儒家开始兴起。政治儒学是他们的理论重点,但在民主问题上不同学者观点不同。"原教旨主义儒家"认为民主是西方文化发展的结果,没有普适性,必须予以限制。"自由主义儒家"承认民主是现代社会的基本标志,但反对全盘西化,对民主持一种批判接受的态度。"修正主义儒家"也认为民主是现代社会的基本理念,但源于且适用于西方的民主本身存在缺陷,所以必须将其修正,来适合儒家政治。
Since the 1990 s,the contemporary mainland Neo-Confucianism has begun to rise. Political Confucianism is their theoretical focus,but different scholars have different viewpoints on the issue of democracy. The fundamentalist Confucianism believes that democracy is the result of the development of Western culture. It is not universal and must be limited. Liberal Confucianism acknowledges that democracy is the basic symbol of modern society,but it opposes the westernization of the whole and presides over a critically accepted attitude toward the democracy. Revisionist Confucianism also believes that democracy is the basic idea of modern society,but democracy originating from and applicable to the West itself is flawed,so it must be amended to suit Confucian politics.
