摘要
20世纪80年代台湾兴起原住民运动,主要以族群认同与文化寻根为诉求,重塑原住民认同意识,解放长期以来被压抑的身份。原住民作家纷纷以过往原乡生活经验、记忆或重返部落后的冲突感为创作基底,透过汉语书写传达个体自觉意识,以此与现实体制相抗衡,为处于边缘的"我族"发声。泰雅族作家游霸士·挠给赫身为"原运世代"作家之一,以为族群长期以来受歧视,唯有摆脱污名感,寻回自我的认同,才能恢复信心。游霸士于擅长书写的部落历史叙事小说中,融入族群传统习俗,重新诠释旧惯的意义,探寻族人过往的光荣,且对于族语的高度认同感,促使他以族语为创作语言,改写族群传统口头叙事作品,企图以个人所具有的原族语、汉语书写能力,反转主流文化对原住民族的宰制,从中展现原住民族的文化特色与智慧。
In the 1980s, the indigenous people movement arose in Taiwan, which had the appeals of ethnic identity andcultural root-seeking and liberated their identity long with stigma and oppression. With the past native places and the conflict feeling of returning to the tribe, the indigenous authors created books in Chinese to conveyindividual consciousness, to stand against realistic system and to give voice for their own trilDes on the edge. As one of the authorsof Indigenous Movement Generation, Yubas Naogih, Atayal tribe member, felt that his tribe was only after getting rid of stigma and finding self-identity can it restore confidence. In the narrative novels of tribe history he was good at, Yubas Naogih added his tribe ’ s traditional customs and reinterpreted their meaningfulness to seek the sense of ethnic honor in the past. His high sense of identity for the Atayal language caused him to his tribe’ s traditional oral narrative works.
