Paraphrase是英语学习中常使用的一种技巧,其通常做法是将原本比较复杂难懂的英语句子用更加简单通俗的语言表达出来。但其实在汉英口译过程中,学生同样需要掌握并灵活运用paraphrase技巧,对汉语源语信息中较难理解的表达方式、句式结构等进行同一语言内部的paraphrase变通处理,以提高口译理解的准确度,从而更好地为译语产出奠定基础。

Paraphrase is a frequently-used technique in English learning, and the common practice is to express the complicated and difficult English sentences with the more simple and popular language. while in the actual process of Chinese-English interpretation, students also need to master and apply the skill of paraphrase because it can deal with in a flexible way within the same language the unintelligible expression and different sentence structures from Chinese source language information so as to improve the accuracy of interpretation understanding and to lay better foundation for the output of target language.
