Study on Feasibility of Setting the Professional Direction of Cross-border E-commerce of Business English in Independent Business Colleges

随着跨境电商行业的飞速发展和高等教育改革的推进,在独立学院设置商务英语专业跨境电商方向,不但符合我国经济转型升级的大方向,顺应国家的行业政策和教育政策,满足社会需求,而且能整合现有师资力量,充分利用教学基地,促进校企合作。从发展前景、政策优势、社会需求、师资力量和教学基地等方面,对独立学院商务英语专业跨境电商方向设置展开分析,认为切实可行。

With the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce industry and the development of higher education reform in the new century, setting cross-border e-commerce direction in business English majors in the independent colleges conforms to the general direction of economic transformation and upgrading as well as the policy in industry and education in our country, and meets the needs of the society. Meanwhile, this move can integrate the existing faculty, can make full use of teaching bases, and can promote the school-enterprise cooperation. This paper analyzes the setting of professional direction cross-border e-commerce of business English in independent colleges and points out the feasibility from the perspectives of the development prospect, policy advantages, social demands, faculty strength and teaching base, etc.
