摘要
黄孝方言的"叫莫",意思是"听便/尽管",也存在于周边的西南官话和鄂西北、陕南的移民后裔方言中。这个词是由反问句通过省略而演变为动词和连词的。黄孝方言中部的团风方言及相关方言中,存在其4个演变阶段的印记:未必_(难道)叫他(你)莫VP?→叫他(你)莫VP?→叫他(你)莫?→叫(他/你)莫_(动词)→叫(他/你)莫_(连词)。这一至迟在400年前就发生的演变,在各地的进程不一,其语法化、词汇化的路径颇有特色。
The word ＂jiaomo＂ （叫莫） in Huangxiao dialect, expressing the meaning of concession can also be found in surrounding Southwestern Mandarin and dialects of the decedents of immigrants in northwestern Hubei and southern Shaanxi provinces. This combination originates from an abbreviation of a rhetorical question and subsequently develops into a verb or conjunction. Traces of four evolutionary stages of ＂jiaomo＂ from a rhetorical question to a concession conjunction can be detected in Tuangfeng sub-dialect of Huangxiao. The evolution of ＂jiaomo＂ , dating back over 400 years, displays geographical variations in process, and the paths of its grammaticalization and lexicalization exhibit distinguishing features.
