On China's Self-Verification: the Historical Position of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era

直面杂音四起且西方价值观仍然占主体面的世界舆论市场,特别是对那些蓄意抹黑中国、贬低乃至否定中国在当今世界的重要地位与形象的种种声音,我们中国必须以国家姿态出场作出恰当的自我证明。经过近四十年的改革开放,我国已进入了新时代中国特色社会主义发展阶段。在此新的历史方位中,我们要勇于和善于对中国特色社会主义伟大实践基础上形成的中国特色社会主义道路、中国特色社会主义理论、中国特色社会主义制度、中国特色社会主义文化给予恰如其分地自证,亦即在习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想长期指导下,坚定道路自信、理论自信、制度自信与文化自信。

With all the controversies and the Western values still being dominant in the world media market,especially for those voices that deliberately discredit China,belittle or even negate China＇s important position and image in the present world,China must make efforts to verify itself. After nearly forty years of reform and opening up,our country has entered a stage of development of socialism with Chinese characteristics in a new era. In this new stage of development,we should be bold and good at offering proper conditions to the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the socialist system with Chinese characteristics and the socialist culture with Chinese characteristics based on the great practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Under the long-term guidance of Xi Jinping＇s socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era,Xi Jinping firmly believes in road self-confidence,theoretical self-confidence,institutional self-confidence and cultural self-confidence.
