提高番木瓜种子发芽率的简易方法

A Simple Method of Improving Seed Germination Percentage of Papaya

番木瓜实生种子在自然条件下,发芽率在50%以下,并且发芽时间长,前后达40 d左右,苗木生长大小不一致。选择优质的番木瓜种子,进行试剂预处理和播种前用55℃水浸0.5 min这一关键技术措施,番木瓜种子发芽率达到93%,而且发芽和出苗整齐,实生苗质量高,大大提高了番木瓜种子发芽率。本技术为番木瓜苗木大量繁殖提供一种简易实用的方法。

The seed germination of papaya has characteristics of less than 50% of seed germination percentage at natural conditions,long germination period of about 40 d and growth disharmony of seedlings. In this paper, we selected high quality seed of papaya as materials. First, seeds were pretreated using reagent. Second, before sowing, seeds were soaked at 55℃ water for 0.5 mn. Then seed germination percentages of seeds could be improved to 93%. Germination and seedlings showed regular trend and high quality. The techniques could improve seed germination percentage significantly. It also provided a simple method for large scale propagation of papaya.
