Rectifying Our Original Aspiration——Some Reflections on My Studies in Yan'an

在当年陕北贫瘠的黄土地上,习近平确立了以身许党许国、为祖国和人民奉献自己的理想信念。这一崇高的理想信念一经确立,再没有动摇。"为中国人民谋幸福,为中华民族谋复兴"的初心和使命是中国共产党人的精神支柱和政治灵魂,是激励中国共产党人不断前进的根本动力。初心不端正或不牢靠,是一些领导干部出问题的最根本最深层的原因。建议在全党来一次"亮初心、正初心、固初心"的活动,并将其作为"不忘初心、牢记使命"主题教育活动的重要前置环节,从而归正初心,筑牢初心,释放初心在新时代的磅礴伟力。

During his early years in the loess plateau of northern Shaanxi, Xi Jinping attained the ideal and belief of dedicating himself to the country and the people. Once this lofty ideal and belief was attained, it has never changed. The original aspiration of ＂striving for the happiness of the Chinese people and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation＂ is the spiritual pillar and political soul of the Chinese communists and is the fundamental driving three for the constant progress of the Chinese communists. Some leading officials run into problems because their original aspirations are wrong or unreliable, which is the most important reason. It is recommended that the Party launch an activity of ＂showing, rectifying and solidifying the original aspiration＂ among all of its members beibre they participate in the education project of ＂remain true to the original aspiration and keep the mission firmly in mind＂, so as to let them have a correct and strong original aspiration and make use of the great role of original aspiration in the new era.
