Based on the previous joint meeting of presidents of higher vocational and technical colleges, this paper reviews the development of higher vocational education in the past ten years and looks into the future from the theme of the meeting, the main forum of the conference and the main contents of the current meeting. Combined with the spirit of the latest documents of vocational education, vocational education is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges. Every higher vocational college must start from the reality and find a way to build a high-quality school suitable for its own development.
