With the growing of customer data and other related data, the traditional data processing technology is difficult to handle the large data problem. So the application of data mining technology has been unprecedented developed. By mining the customer data, we can acquire effective and valuable infor- mation. By analyzing customer characteristics and market segmentation, we can help insurance companies understand market conditions more accurately and provide them more decision--making based advice. This paper mainly introduces the related data mining algorithms and the application of these algorithms in insurance fields.
