The theoretical composition of the modern western formalism literary theory is full of internal contradictions,which are embodied as a series of binary oppositions:the binary opposition betw een the signifier and the signified in the composition of literary symbol,the binary opposition between the content and the form in the structure of literary text,the binary opposition between the difference and the connection in the concept of research,the binary opposition between the analysis and the judgment in the practice of criticism.The composition of symbol,the structure of text,the concept of research and the practice of criticism constitute a research logic,through which these internal binary oppositions ultimately lead the modern western formalism literary theory to self-deconstruction and decline from the inside to the outside.
