摘要
《骨》是华裔美国作家伍慧明的第一部小说,于1993年出版。作品围绕一个华裔美国移民家庭展开,整体结构就是一个大型对话。本文运用巴赫金的对话理论,对《骨》中所体现的不同思想意识的大型对话来进行分析,以探讨华裔美国人构建自我身份的有效途径。
Chinese-American writer Fae Myenne Ng’s frst novel, ＂Bone＂ , was published in 1993. Revolving around an immigrant Chinese family, the novel is structured as a great dialogue. Based upon Bakhtin’s dialogic theory, the thesis tries to investigate into the great dialogue between different consciousnesses refected in ＂Bone＂ , aiming to explore the effective way to construct self-identity for Chinese Americans.
