美国哈佛艺术博物馆藏北齐弟子立像考略

Brief Study on the Standing Statues of Disciples of the Northern Qi Dynasty Collected by the Harvard Art Museum

美国哈佛艺术博物馆所藏两位弟子立像,因带莲花座的北朝弟子圆雕造像极为罕见,并且二弟子造像水平有所差异,所以研究者对其真伪存在诸多疑问。文章通过梳理其流失过程,分析存疑的莲花座与服饰,对二弟子的真伪、造像时间、造像组合与成因等进行分析与推断,认为二者是北齐中期造像,可能为寺庙内主佛的二弟子胁侍。

Two standing statues of disciples are collected in the Harvard Art Museum. Because three-dimensional sculptures of disciples with a Lotus seat in the Northern Qi Dynasty are very rare to be seen, and the craft levels of the two statues are different, researchers have many doubts about its authenticity. Through investigating their loss, analyzing the doubtinglotus seats and dresses, the author analyzed and concludedthe authenticity of the disciples, sculpting time, and combination and causes of the statues, and then puts forward that the two statues were two servants of the main Buddha in the temple.
