Methods: The clinical data of 66 patients with severe acute pancreatitis who were admitted to our hospital from October 2013 to October 2015 were retrospectively analyzed and divided into groups A,B,and C according to the treatment. Group A received conventional treatment, and group B received nasal feeding of Chaiqin Chengqi Decoction on the basis of the group A. Group C was given a neostigmine acupoint injection of Zusanli on the basis of group B. The differences in recovery of intestinal dysfunction and complications after treatment were observed in the three groups. Results: The recovery of intestinal dysfunction and the occurrence of complications were better in group B and C than in group A. The recovery of intestinal dysfunction in group C was faster than that in group B,with fewer complications and better efficacy. Conclusion: Neostigmine acupoint injection combined with Chaishao Chengqi Decoction for the treatment of severe acute pancreatitis can effectively reduce abdominal symptoms, accelerate recovery of gastrointestinal function, shorten hospital stay, reduce complications, and reduce hospitalization costs. It is worthy of clinical promotion.
