A Study on Chinese English Learners' Comprehension Mode of Promises

许诺言语行为是语用学研究的话题之一,但从实验语用学角度出发的研究仍然不足。听话人对许诺的未来行为动作实现的意愿(预备条件)是许诺言语行为实现的条件之一。说话人可以通过各种语言形式来表达许诺言语行为。通过实验语用学的研究方法对中国英语学习者的许诺言语行为理解模式的探究表明:预备条件和语言形式对中国英语学习者理解许诺言语行为有显著影响。

Promise is one of research topics in the field of pragmatics,but there are few experiment-based researches. The listener＇s desire about the accomplishment of a promise,which is also called preparatory condition,is one of the conditions to accomplish the promise. The speaker could express a promise utterance through various linguistic forms. The study on Chinese English learners＇ comprehension mode of promises,which adopts experimental pragmatics methodology,indicates that both preparatory condition and linguistic forms have significant effect on Chinese English learners＇ comprehension of promises.
