坚定文化自信已经成为当代社会的一大主题,在信息化的背景下,中西方文化不断交汇融合,继承和弘扬中国传统文化变得尤为重要,而设计则在民族文化的传播发展中扮演着重要角色。文章主要从设计的发展现状入手,着重从汉斯瓦格纳的家具设计入手探讨了设计中的民族性与现代性融合的方法及其重要性,提出设计应该立足本民族文化,将民族性与现代性融合,从而创造出面向世界的作品,使传统文化得到发扬光大。
