New Thinking of Petrochemical Base Design in Island Type

以现有的海岛型石化项目为例,简述了目前海岛型石化项目的发展概况,并从选址、技术、经济性以及运输等方面挖掘总结了海岛型石化的特点,在充分考虑节省占地面积的同时,提出了包括节水型设计、充分利用海水、环保设计以及安全设计的设计思路与做法,为今后海岛型石化项目的设计与建设提供参考和建议。

The types of petrochemical projects can be roughly divided into three types： island-continenttype, sea （river）-facing type and island type. In the past, the petrochemical projects in island-continent typewere dominant and the petrochemical projects in sea （river） -facing type were subordinate in our country.However, our country＇s planning has shifted to the island-type petrochemical projects in recent years. Takingthe existing island -type petrochemical project as an example, this paper briefly describes the currentdevelopment of island -type petrochemical projects and summarizes the characteristics of island -typepetrochemicals from the aspects of site selection, technology, economy and transportation. And the design ideasand practices including water-saving design, full use of seawater, environmental protection design and safetydesign are put forward while fully considering cutting down the areas. This paper provides references andsuggestions for the design and construction of island-type petrochemical projects in the future.
