高职院校航海英语教学面临的问题与对策

Problems and Countermeasures in Vocational College Nautical English Teaching

近几年来,高职院校航海专业学生生源质量持续下降,而国际公约对海船船员的英语要求进一步提高,给高职院校航海英语教学带来严峻挑战。为进一步提高学生用英语进行有效交际的能力,高职院校应制定科学合理的教学大纲与教学计划,改进教学方法,指导学生学习策略,提高学生英语水平,满足实际工作需要。

The quality of the navigation vocational college students deteriorates year by year, while the English proficiency for ocean-going vessel seafarers required by International convention becomes higher and higher. In order to help the students to meet the requirements of the work on board, nautical English teachers in navigation vocational colleges should make a reasonable syllabus and teaching program, improve teaching methods and guide the students’ learning strategies to improve students’ English communicative competency.
