As the core component of scraper conveyer, the central groove has a direct influence on the continuous operation of scraper conveyer, and is the key factor to determine the efficiency of underground production. In view of the causes,combined the concrete engineering practice with the combination of theoretical analysis and experimental this paper explores the causes leading to the fracture of the middle slot, in order to avoid the occurrence of similar events.
