科技英语译入中的视角转换

Perspective Transformation in Translating Scientific and Technological English into Chinese

衡量科技翻译质量的最高标准就是原语信息在译语中的传递不失真,其译文内容重于行文方式,否则必将导致科技翻译失准,造成经济利益损失,甚至引起人员伤亡。中西方在文化背景、思维方式、科技氛围等方面存在着很大差异,因而在科技英语的翻译中视角转换成为必然。当前科技英语翻译中视角转换的六种类型有其必然性,影响因子也各不相同,通过相关分析,可以更好地认识视角转换在科技英语翻译中的作用和效果。

The highest standard to measure the quality of scientific and technological translation is that the information in original language is the same as in the target language,and the content is more important than the form,or it will lead to unaccomplishment of the aim of scientific and technological translation,economic loss and even casualties. Because there is significant difference in cultural background,thinking patterns and scientific atmosphere between east and west,perspective transformation becomes necessary. Currently,the six types of perspective transformation in scientific transformation have their own necessities,and their influence factors are different. Through correlation analysis,the functions and effects of perspective transformation in scientific and technological translation could be better recognized.
