沽源县榆树沟的矿床成矿情况良好,全区第四系覆盖甚广。本区受中朝准地台内蒙古背斜冀北陷断东沽源台凹闪电河凹陷控制,井田位于闪电河凹陷北部,属中生代断陷盆地。区内总体为一向斜构造,钻孔进行探测各个矿层的矿物特性,确定赋存部位。根据张家口市沽源县榆树沟矿床的成矿特征,确定出对环境污染最小的找矿方案。
