For a typical ore deposit, strengthening the judgement of fractal dimension of its fracture structure can enhance the researchers＇ attention to the distribution of fractures, which is very important for studying the fractal characteristics of ore controlling faults in typical deposits. As a typical fractal feature of ore deposits, it can fully show the number of faults, the actual scale, the degree of development, the way of combination and the dynamics. This paper is mainly to the Jiangxi Jiujiang Ruichang area as an example, discusses on the fractal characteristics of ore controlling faults of local typical ore deposits, in order to provide some reference for future research related staff.
