China's Economic and Trade Cooperation with Central Asia in the Belt and Road Context

2013年中国国家主席习近平在哈萨克斯坦提出共建丝绸之路经济带倡议,得到中亚各国积极响应。4年多来,丝绸之路经济带建设与中亚各国战略对接取得重要进展。在共建丝绸之路经济带背景下,中国与中亚国家经贸合作不断迈上新台阶,取得新进展,双方已经相互成为重要合作伙伴。而对于经贸合作中存在问题的重视与解决对今后进一步开展合作会有很好的促进作用。

President Xi Jinping＇s proposal of the Silk Road initiatives in his 2013 visit to Kazakhstan has received active responses from Central Asian countries. During the past three years, great efforts have been made in connecting China＇s Silk Road construction and the development strategies of Central Asian countries. In this new context, economic and trading cooperation between China and Central Asia has achieved much progress and the two parties have become important partners. Currently, we need to tackle problems hindering bi-lateral cooperation for the benefit of future collaboration.
