The differences of narrative patterns in Chinese, Hellenic and Hebrew mythology resulted from their different witchcraft conversion paths when the witchcrafts of the three were brought to the early civilized society in ancient times. While Hellenic and Hebrew mythology chose the path of religionization and attisticalization respectively to con- vert witchcraft, Chinese mythology picked the path of secularization, which contributed to a series of differentiations, such as identities of mythological narrators, cultural functions of mythological narration, mythological external formations, prioritized literature genres and targets in mythological narratives, etc.
