摘要
为达到最终能够流利且正确地使用中文来沟通的目的,所有的学习者都必须经过大量操练的阶段。中文的语言操练能帮助学习者改善其发音,提高其流利度,加深学习者对每个生词和句型的印象,同时也能提高学习者对自己口语能力的信心。笔者认为即使在高级阶段,操练仍然是十分重要的。至于什么时候进行操练,教师当然可以考虑在课堂上做一些操练,但大部分的操练应该放在电脑上或录音上,按照翻转课堂的原则让学习者在课堂外进行,没有必要为此在课堂上花太多时间。如此教师才能最有效地利用宝贵而有限的课堂时间,帮助学习者在最短的时间内达到最高的水平,进而真正地提升学习者正确沟通和交际的能力。
The value of drills as enabling mechanisms to help learners attain the ultimate goal of communicative competency must not be underestimated. Drills can help learners improve their pronunciation, internalize new words and grammar, and develop fluency. At the same time, drills can increase learners' confidence in speaking Chinese. It is possible to devise contextualized, meaningful drills that are realistic, quasi-communicative, and that can incorporate Chinese culture. Based on the "flipped classroom" approach, most drills should be conducted by learners outside of class in self-study mode, working with a computer or audio player. Using technology to conduct drills outside of class frees up time for interactive learning activities in class for which the instructor's participation and guidance are essential.
