The Classical Marxist Theorists' Writings Relevant to the Three Major Tasks of Socialist Rule of Law with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era

党的十九大报告为新时代中国特色社会主义法治提出经济、政治、文化三大任务。即促进生产力发展与实现人民美好幸福生活的目标;保证人民当家作主与实行国家一切发展以人民为中心;维护党对意识形态的绝对领导权,继承创新和发展中华民族优秀传统文化,法治与德治密切结合。系统揭示马克思主义经典作家对此三大任务的相关论述,了解这些论述的重要性。

The report to the 19th CPC National Congress proposes three major tasks for building the socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics concerning economic, political, and cultural sectors： specifically, to promote the development of productivity and help achieve the goal for people to live a better life; to ensure that the country is run by the people and all national developments are centered around the people; and to maintain the Party＇s absolute leadership in the ideological field, and inherit, innovate and develop fine traditional Chinese culture, integrating rule of law and rule of virtue. With an eye to the achievement of these three tasks, this paper is intended to systematically review the classical Marxist theorists＇ writings relevant to these tasks and reveal their importance.
