Theory of Structural Functional Translation

结构功能翻译理论是用系统论的原理和方法,从结构形式、功能过程、优化方法几方面研究语义系统结构功能的系统翻译理论。结构功能翻译理论以语义学为基础,以系统论的结构功能相关律为核心,以系统的整体性原理、相对性概念、结构—功能方法为支撑,将语义及其语言、语用分类视作系统要素,运用结构形式构建成语义系统,并将语义学的并列分类结构形式改变为系统论的递进层次结构形式,从而按系统递进层次的结构功能整体构建"系统分层翻译""系统优化翻译",通过翻译及翻译优化的程序化实现结构功能翻译的系统相对性整体功能最优化。结构功能翻译理论及翻译程序,对翻译、翻译教学、翻译研究有一定的使用价值。论文提出的翻译"最大限度符合译入语思维习惯",是从方法论上对巴斯奈特文化转向理论的一种补充完善。

Structural functional translation theory,which uses the principle and method of system theory,is a theory of studying functional equivalent translation from the aspects of structural form,functional process and optimization method. Based on semasiology and structure-function correlation of systematology,functional-structural translation theory perceives semantics,language and pragmatic classification as system elements and constructs them into semantic system structure. In addition,this theory is corroborated by integrative thinking,relativity principle and structure-function method. Through the transformation from coordinative construction into quantizing structure,this theory could build comprehensive hierarchical translation and systematic optimized translation. In this way,functional-structural translation intends to optimize the system function relatively. Structural functional translation theory and translation process have a certain value for translation,translation teaching and translation research.
