Being combined with the development trend of comprehensive development of expressway service area,taking comprehensive development of Wengyuan Expressway Service Area as an example,in this paper,starting from the analysis on the advantages of developing the specialty demonstration service area of agricultural products exhibition in Wengyuan Service Area,the planning and construction of Wengyuan Characteristic Service Area has been introduced in detail,with the operation and management mode of characteristic service area being discussed. Finally,the significance of comprehensive development of Wengyuan Characteristic Service Area has been expounded and a brief analysis has been carried out on the comprehensive development of expressway service area,which could provide demonstration case for the comprehensive development of the expressway.
